mobile medical mission

objective

Provide healthcare and public health educational needs to rural villages in Nigeria. The aim is to provide humanitarian free health and dental care to rural villages that are acceptable to them, in remote villages in Nigeria.

The most vulnerable people at any giving time of disasters are those living in third world countries and like many third world countries, Nigeria is in desperate need of basic healthcare and public health needs such as: nutrition, maternal and childhood healthcare, immunization, medications and basic public health knowledge.

New Life Medical Mission (NLMM) was born at of necessity through the help of American health care professionals, local churches and family business friends. Today a parent in the village will treat tooth problem by chewing tobacco or robbing sulfur around the teeth, just because he or she can’t afford going to see a dentist. For the past 22 years, New Life Missions continue to invest in Nigerian rural communities

Our approach

Education
One of the most vital ways to improve health of those living in the villages is by educating citizens.

One of the most vital ways to improve health of those living in the villages is by educating citizens. When people are well informed, it enables them to secure safer jobs, increased their awareness health literacy, which eventually lead to other health preventive measures.

We’ve invested in providing clean water by building a community Well and also educating the locals on better sanitation practices.

Mobile Clinic
In 2020 (pre-pandemic), our mobile clinic was able to provide care to nearly1400 patients in remote villages.

“Poverty and low-income status are associated with a variety of adverse health outcomes, including shorter life expectancy, higher rates of infant mortality, and higher death rates for the 14 leading causes of death.”

Global Awareness
Improving health in rural communities in Nigeria requires the involvement of local government agencies, philanthropies, and our foreign partners to help provide poor villages or communities with effective medical lifelines that are free and accessible to everyone

On a larger scale, as part of the New Life Missions sustainable development goals in Nigeria, our sponsors have promise to help us furbish a dream for New Life Community Clinic if built. That must take collective efforts including friends like you to make it happen. If God is stirring your heart to be part of this dream, please drop us a note through our contact address or email
