Water scarcity is very prevalent in many villages in Nigeria. Families do not have enough water in their homes to drink, cook, or even to sustain their agricultural farmlands.   Lack of access to clean water is a leading cause of infection and illness which in turn, can lead many families into poverty. 

Today children still walk for miles in search of clean water for their families, and sometimes they become victims of rape, verbal abuse or kidnapped by traffickers who specialize in trading body and organ parts, often times for rituals or in the black market organ trade. 

Basic need like access to clean water, food, health, and security are still a mirage to millions of Nigeria families. Nevertheless, through generous friends and families like you, New Life Missions has been able to open wells in some villages thereby improving their access to clean water.
